These pots are wheel thrown and stoneware fired to ^6. They all have functional lids with flanges and
spouts that really pour. Talk about a "spot of tea" ...
To find a wire thin enough to
facet this pot, I had to strip
the wires from a broken
toy's D-cell battery hookup.
I wrapped a single hair-thin
copper wire around a
straight pin to make a spring
and then crushed it.
Glazed in a happy studio
accident I call "blue celadon"
and could never make again.
