Trellis Necklace with Wendy Nathan
Monday, January 23rd at 7pm.
Students will learn how to make a trellis yarn necklace in this class. A trellis yarn necklace is a light-weight, beautiful
piece that can be worn with any attire. You will learn a simple crochet technique to make the necklace, and depending
how quickly you get the hang of it, you will be able to make at least two necklaces in the class time. The class is an hour
long and will costs $15, payable to Toledo Botanical Garden.
SUPPLIES: You can purchase your own yarn in advance or buy a small amount from Wendy in class. If you want to buy
your own to make more at home, Wendy says: "A skein of trellis yarn should produce at least 9 necklaces. I suggest
buying from www.sharonsyarns.com, as she has the best selection and prices. You will also need an I or a J crochet
hook, which can be bought from any local hobby store or at Meijers. Did you miss this class? Email ksavino@bex.net
and we'll start filling a new one!
